Arrival Times & Access
Friday Arrivals (Camping Only)
2pm – 10pm Friday
- Enter via Mountside (postcode YO11 2TY)

- Please do not arrive before 2pm – we’re still setting up and you’ll end up sitting in a queue. Enjoy Scarborough, have an ice cream, and arrive after 3pm when queues are much shorter.
- Once on site: Follow the RED line for Inner Field access, then follow the BLUE line for Outer Field access
After 10pm Friday (with pre-purchased tickets)
- Follow council direction signs from A64/Dunslow Road roundabout (Morrisons/McDonalds roundabout)

- Signs will direct you to Musham Bank Road entrance
- 24-hour access available with tickets

Saturday & Sunday Arrivals (Race Days)
Gates open 8am
- ALL public access via Musham Bank Road
- Follow council direction signs from A64/Dunslow Road roundabout

Pay on Gate Available:
- Saturday: 8am – 9pm
- Sunday: 8am – 9pm
- Cash and card payments accepted
- Outside these hours: Pre-purchased tickets required (buy instantly online)
Departures
Saturday Evening
- Car park and Outside Field: leave and return anytime
- Inside Field: exit window approximately 6pm–10pm — Allowing time for you to go out for tea and get back in. If you need your car at other times over the weekend, you can leave it in the car park field and walk over the bridge.
Sunday
- All visitors can leave anytime after racing finishes (typically 6pm)
- All weekend guests are welcome to stay until 10am Monday
- Main exit via Musham Bank Road to A64
Camping & Parking
Two Campsite Options
INSIDE FIELD — Budget option
- Lower price
- Basic facilities: portable toilets and fresh water
- Tents, motorhomes, or caravans all welcome
- NOT suitable for mobility impaired visitors
⚠️ Access restrictions — please read carefully:
- Arrivals between 2pm and 10pm Friday only
- After 10pm Friday the Inside Field is closed to new arrivals — you must use the Outside Field
- Once racing starts on Saturday you are locked in — no access in or out during the event
- Exit windows: After racing on Saturday evening (From 6pm–10pm – Firm closure again at 10pm), and after racing on Sunday
- If you need your car over the weekend, leave it in the car park field and walk over the bridge to access it
Arriving after 10pm Friday? You must book Outside Field camping.
OUTSIDE FIELD — Premium option
- Higher price
- Full facilities: permanent toilet block and hot showers
- 24-hour access — come and go as you please all weekend
- Trade stands and entertainment nearby
- Arrive anytime from Friday 2pm onwards
- Mobility accessible
- Tents, motorhomes, or caravans all welcome

- Access via Musham Bank Road entrance

Pedestrian Access
Two pedestrian entrances:
- Mountside (YO11 2TY) – from town centre
- Mere Lane (YO11 2YW)
Both open during event hours (8am-6pm approx)
