Mike Browne on The Russell Racing Yamaha R6 took the win in the restarted Gold Cup Feature Race, sponsored by HMH Civils, from SMT Racing’s Rob Hodson and Parker Transport Racing’s Don Gilbert.

This was the 33rd and final running of The Steve Henshaw Gold Cup, since it started in 1989.

Mike adds his name on the trophy to such illustrious names as Guy Martin, David Jefferies, Dean Harrison, Dean Ashton, Lee Johnston, Carl Fogarty, John McGuinness, Ryan Farquhar, Michael Dunlop & Ian Hutchinson.

We are very grateful to Steve’s wife, Val Henshaw, for all she has done to keep the trophy and Steve’s memory alive for the last 37 years.
