These Booking Conditions, together with any other written information we brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking, apply to your booking with Oliver’s Mount Racing Ltd, Company Number 11786668 with its registered office at Circuit Office, Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough. YO11 2YW (“we” or “our”).
Please read these conditions carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.
In these Booking Conditions references to “you” and “your” include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or anyone else who is added to a booking or to whom a booking is transferred.
Your booking agreement is made under the laws of England. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
Our booking conditions are designed to be easy to understand, however, if you have any further questions, please contact our customer services team as soon as possible as alterations to your booking at a later date may incur additional costs (See “Booking” for more details).
We act in the capacity as Events Organiser to help you to book event tickets directly with us as organisers.
Providing Information
You must ensure all information you give is correct. We’ll use personal information in line with our privacy policy. It is your responsibility to pass on any information we give you to everyone who is a participant in your booking.
Booking
By making a booking, you agree on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them; you consent to our use of information by our Privacy Policy, and that you are over 18 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal adult.
The lead member of the party guarantees payment to us of the total booking price. In the event of there being an entitlement to a refund from our company, due to cancellation/amendment, or for any other reason, such refund will be made to the lead member of the party. Instructions regarding changes and/or cancellations will be taken only from the lead member of the party.
Payment
Payment in full must be made at time of booking.
Accommodation
In the event of event cancellation or amendment, including date changes, we will not be liable for any additional bookings made with third parties, for example, but not limited to travel (flights, rail, ferries etc.), Accommodation (Hotels, Campsites, Lodgings etc.).
Prices
Prices are as set at the time of booking.
Behaviour
Please be aware that the booking conditions of the supplier will normally state that your stay can be terminated, with no refund, if the behaviour of your party falls below an acceptable standard. Suppliers will also often require you to pay for any damage you cause to any facilities at the venue.
Please note that we have no control over the behaviour of other persons staying at the venue and we are not responsible for any withdrawal or impairment of facilities/services or other loss or damage caused by them.
Complaints
If you find that you are in any way dissatisfied with our service, in order that we may have the opportunity to correct the matter, you must advise our gate staff immediately. Should the gate staff not be able to resolve the situation, you should report the complaint in writing to our office no later than 28 days after the completion of the event quoting your booking number. No complaints or claims can be considered after that date.
If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we or the supplier of the service in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Examples of events beyond our control are: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity or its consequences, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, health risks, unavoidable and unforeseeable technical problems with transport, actual or potential severe / inclement weather conditions including rain, fog, thunderstorms, hail, heat, snow, the imposition of sanctions or other Governmental action and any other similar events. Cancellation by us
Cancellation by us may be necessary in exceptional circumstances. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to cancel the booked event(s). On the rare occasion that an event is cancelled in advance of the start date, we will give a full refund of monies held on account for you, or the opportunity to accept a credit note to the full value. Please note that we will not refund or pay compensation where an event is changed or cancelled for reasons of Force Majeure (See section A above), but ourEvent Cancellation Insurance for 2025 Seasonis available to cover all cancellations.
Cancellation by you
Should you or any member of your party decide to cancel your/their booking once it has been made, notification of the cancellation instruction will be required in writing from the lead member of the party. Notification by email tosales@oliversmount.comwill be accepted. We will have no liability to you in the event of emails not being received, or their delivery being delayed, for technical or other reasons.
We do not give refunds for advance purchases, but we will offer a credit redeemabe for a future event.
Cancellations within 7 days of an event will still be offered credit but with a 20% admin fee deduction.
